According to quick estimates, the annual rate of growth of the Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) in Kerala in 2023-24 was 6 per cent at constant prices. The corresponding figure for the previous year was 4.2 per cent. The data show positive growth in all sectors of the economy. Per capitaGSDP in constant prices grew 5.5 per cent in 2023-24, and now stands at Rs1,76,072 (the national average is Rs 1,24,600).The role of State policy has been central to the growth of incomes in Kerala over the preceding year.
