The year 2019 has been a year of subdued growth and investment. The global economy is in slowdown. Global growth is projected at 3.9 per cent, the lowest level since 2008-09. As a whole, rising trade barriers, uncertainty surrounding trade and geopolitics, and low productivity growth have resulted in this sluggish growth.
