The Kerala State Planning Board successfully conducted the Student Internship Programme 2024–25, aimed at promoting evidence-based planning and policy-oriented research among postgraduate and PhD students. Applications were invited through public notification. Based on the merit of the research proposal and interview, 23 students were selected. Draft report presentations were held on 4–5 March 2025. Interns revised and finalized their reports based on expert feedback and guide’s approval. Certificate Distribution Ceremony was held on 11 June 2025 at Samrudhi Hall, where the Hon’ble Vice Chairperson awarded certificates to the interns who have successfully completed the programme.
The Internship Programme serves as a meaningful platform for academic engagement, providing young scholars the opportunity to contribute to Kerala’s development planning process while gaining valuable exposure to real-world policy research.
